Do you have questions before your first visit? Do you need help regarding the where, how or what? Perhaps you’ll find the answer here. But if you don’t find what you’re looking for or still have questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

What should I bring during my first visit?

Please bring the following with you:

  • prescription from your doctor
  • your health insurance card in the case of illness
  • an accident certificate, if applicable
  • reports and photos, if available
  • comfortable clothing
  • clean shoes or non-slip socks

How long will my therapy session last?

One therapy session lasts 25 minutes. However, you’re welcome to exercise independently in our practice before and after your session.

Will my physiotherapy be covered by insurance?

Yes. With a prescription from your doctor, your therapy is covered by basic insurance.

How many therapy sessions per year or per case are covered by health/accident insurance?

Three series of 9 physiotherapy sessions are usually covered. For further therapy sessions, you must consult your doctor and get a confirmation of coverage from your health or accident insurance provider.

Do you offer massages?

Yes, on a self-payment basis.

Can I exercise independently?

Yes. We offer subscriptions for 3 months, 6 months and the full year. If you have not previously had physiotherapy, we recommend you get a comprehensive checkup first.

Is there parking available? Can I arrive using public transport?

Yes. There are parking spots available in front of our practice. There is also a bus stop directly in front of the practice. Directions

Do you make house visits?

No. For organizational reasons this is not possible.

What happens if I can’t make my appointment?

Appointments which are not cancelled 24 hours in advance will be billed. Leave a message on our answering machine at +41 56 210 10 67, use our contact form or send us an email at info@rehaaktiv.ch .
